Version: v26.09

Quick Start

The openFuyao community distribution adopts a "core platform + pluggable components" architecture. The core platform is deeply optimized based on open-source Kubernetes, providing out-of-the-box containerized cluster management capabilities, covering basic functions such as resource orchestration, elastic scaling, and multi-dimensional monitoring to meet the basic operational needs of enterprise-level production environments. Through the built-in application marketplace, it provides a rich set of industry-level high-value components, covering key capabilities such as AI/general computing hybrid scheduling, unified heterogeneous resource management, dynamic intelligent scheduling, and end-to-end observability enhancement.

This document will introduce how to quickly install an All-In-One (AIO) single-node business cluster on an openEuler 22.03 LTS operating system node, access the openFuyao cluster management interface, and successfully deploy an application from the application marketplace.

icon Note:
This document is intended for simple, quick experience of small-scale cluster installation, with steps arranged along the shortest path. For production environments, high availability, offline, and more optional configurations, see Cluster Installation Guide.

Environment Preparation

The following introduces the environment preparation before quickly installing a small-scale cluster using the openFuyao installation tool.

Prerequisites

The openFuyao platform solution supports installation and use on the following operating systems and architectures:

Operating SystemVersionArchitecture
openEuler20.03ARM64, x86_64
openEuler22.03ARM64, x86_64
openEuler24.03ARM64, x86_64

Node Requirements

  • Nodes can connect to the external network.

  • Nodes can be logged in using the root user.

  • The tar tool needs to be installed on the bootstrap node. You can run the following commands based on the operating system:

    bash
    # RPM-based (openEuler/CentOS/RHEL, etc.)
    yum install -y tar

    # Debian-based (Ubuntu/Debian, etc.)
    apt-get update && apt-get install -y tar

icon Notice:
It is recommended that your node environment is sufficiently clean and has not installed any Kubernetes components, otherwise version conflicts may occur leading to installation failure.

Quick Installation of a Small-Scale Cluster

To install a cluster with openFuyao, you need to first initialize the bootstrap node, and then use the openFuyao management interface on the bootstrap node to install the business cluster, and finally deploy a sample application.

icon Note:
Before performing small-scale cluster installation, please refer to Installation and Deployment Concepts and Process to understand the installation and deployment concepts and process, and perform Environment Pre-check for pre-installation checks.

  3. Initialize the bootstrap node.

    bash
    bke init --onlineImage cr.openfuyao.cn/openfuyao/bke-online-installed:26.9.0

    icon Note:
After the command is executed, the tool first displays the parameters that take effect for this installation (such as --hostIP and --domain), and then shows the confirmation prompt Confirm the parameters, press Y to continue N will exit. [Y/N]?: enter Y to continue the installation, or enter N to exit. You can also append the --confirm flag to the bke init command to skip this confirmation step.

  4. Confirm the node initialization result.

4.1 After the automated installation process in the previous step is successfully executed, you can log in to the openFuyao management interface on the bootstrap node to check whether the bootstrap node initialization is successful.

    icon Note:

    • The login URL for the openFuyao management interface on the bootstrap node is "https://bootstrap node IP address:30010".
    • For the first login, the default username is admin and the default password is test@1234.

4.2 Execute the following command to view the status of all Pods on the machine.

    bash
     kubectl get pod -A

    icon Note:

    • When bke init is executed successfully, the final log line BKE initialization is complete is output.
    • Bootstrap node initialization usually takes 5 to 6 minutes, and may take longer depending on network and hardware conditions. Installation is complete when all Pod statuses are running or Completed. The waiting time will be longer when the network speed is slow.
    • The components deployed by the installation and deployment tool all use default configurations and are only used to test the openFuyao platform functions. If used in a production environment, please adjust the security configurations of Kubernetes, container runtime, and network plugin components yourself.

2. Install the Business Cluster

  1. Install the business cluster through the bootstrap node openFuyao management interface. For detailed operation steps, please refer to Installing Business Clusters on the Management Interface.

  2. Confirm successful installation of the business cluster.

Execute the following command to view the Pod status. When all Pod statuses are Running or Completed, it indicates that the environment installation is complete.

    bash
    kubectl get pod -A

    icon Note:

    • During service cluster installation, when the "Cluster Information" window that pops up on the interface displays the log line Reason: ClusterReady, Message: cluster is ready and no new logs are scrolling, the service cluster installation is complete. If the log line Reason: ClusterDeployFailed is displayed, the installation fails.
    • The time required for business cluster installation depends on the cluster scale and network conditions. For example, deploying a business cluster with 3 master nodes and 1 worker node takes about 15 minutes (it may take longer depending on network and hardware conditions), and the waiting time will be longer when the network speed is slow. Installation is complete when all Pod statuses are running or completed.
    • The components deployed by the installation and deployment tool all use default configurations and are only used to test the openFuyao platform functions. If used in a production environment, please adjust the security configurations of Kubernetes, container runtime, and network plugin components yourself.
